Product innovation BritAS CMF-BF automatic continuous bolt screen changer with backflush function
„Mainly, bolt screen changers are used in the post-industry, post-production as well as for virgin materials. Depending on the desired throughputs and different operating modes, customers choose between the discontinuous – mainly with one bolt – resp. the continuous – with two bolts – version“, says Thomas Lehner, CSO / Managing Director BritAS Recycling-Anlagen GmbH. „The CMF-BF, the bolt screen changer with backflush function is in a position to clean the filters automatically. In an attachment module, there are two backflush bolts, which allow an automatic backflush procedure. For an necessary filter change, first, one of the two backflush bolts is moved into the backflush position. This results in an interruption of the melt flow of corresponding filter. A small melt flow of the material, which has already been cleaned, is separated and is guided backwards through the filter to be cleaned and is guided outwards. Allrounder for thicknesses of up to 350 bar
The BritAS CMF-BF is an allrounder – applicable for the filtration of industrial and production waste – for polyolefins and many technical plastics for temperatures of up to 350°C and pressures of 350 bar.
The quick change from standard to backflush version with easy attachment module, the material saving during the backflush procedure and the short backflush procedure are the advantages for the customers.
